Testo: (10) projects shall be tendered out in a certain sequence according to a master schedule to ensure that the execution of the related projects are implemented in a coordinated manner to ensure that the production lines are up and running while the others undergo the rehabilitation work, as follows: At present there is a new OCC of a capacity 220 ton/day commissioned in 2016. This OCC will feed m/c # 3 after its rehabilitation, since m/c # 3 already has a provision for the installation of a “ size press”, both project # 1and project # 3 shall be tendered out in one tender. This will be the first tender to be launched as tender package # 1. We shall provide with some insight to that package later below. The second tender package to be launched is tender package # 2 for the board m/c # 4. We shall provide with some insight to that package later below. The third tender package to be for the design, supply and construction on turnkey basis of a new 100 ton/day OCC, tender package # 3. The fourth tender package shall be for the rehabilitation of paper m/c # 1 to operate with the new OCC, tender package # 4. The fifth tender package shall for the rehabilitation the existing OCC to reinstate its design capacity of 100 ton/day and the rehabilitation of the paper m/c # 2 in one tender package, tender package # 5. In the following section we shall provide with an insight of the tender package # 1 and tender package # 2, as follows: Tender package # 1: This tender aims at the turnkey rehabilitation of the paper m/c # 3 starting from the press part and downstream including the supply and installation of a size press with the objective of increasing its production capacity to 180 ton/day of 125 g/sqm flute& test liner. The scope of work includes as a minimum: Task(1) Engineering review of the parts upstream the press part, including the vacuum system, to ensure it can sustain the required production capacity. Bidder shall include in the offer for the upgrade of any component, if needed. Task(2) Press part modification to replace existing 2nd & 3rd NIPCO rolls with two new rolls including hydraulic loading and all other requirements. Task(3) Design, supply and install a new size press in the position provided for it in drying part. Size press shall include kitchen and pulper. Task(4) Drying part modification and overhaul. It comprises 41 cylinders each 1.5 m dia. And face length of 5 m. work include repair of pins& bearing housings, --- etc. Task(5) Design, supply and install new steam and condensate system as a replacement to the existing one. Task(6) Supplement existing wire part. Task(7) replace and upgrade existing electrical drive control system for the paper m/c and rewinder. Tender package # 2 : This tender aims at the turnkey rehabilitation of the board m/c # 4 with the objective of reinstating its design production capacity of 70 ton/day of 270 gm/sqm of coated board. The scope of work includes as a minimum: Task(1) : Approach Flow. Supply & install complete new approach flow system. Task(2) : Forming Section include (6) Vats. Upgrade the forming section including head box for first and second vats and new pressure C- former. Task(3) : Press Part. Reinstate original press load and revamp NIPCO press including all control circuits and zones. Task(4) : Drying Section modification and overhaul, it involves replacing the bearings of all cylinders (51 Cyl.). Task(5) : Steam &Condensate System. Design, supply and install new steam and condensate system as a replacement for existing one. Task(6) : Coater Section(Jagen Berg). Revamp existing Jagen Berg coater. Task(7) : Calendars Before and After Coater. Revamp NIPCO calendars including all control circuits, zones, hydraulic system – etc. Task(8) : Pope-Reel. Replace existing pop reel drum with new one. Task (9) : Electrical Drive& Control System. Supply and replace all existing m/c and rewinder DC drives with new individual AC drives with inverters –etc. Task (10) : Stock Preparation,. Supply and install stock preparation plant for top layer, capacity 30 ton/day. At present RAKTA approved the launch of the tender packages #1 & #2 during the second half of September, 2018. The other packages are currently in different stages of preparation and shall be released according to schedule to suit RAKTA production plans.
