Testo: The Hellenic Copper Mines is a mining and metallurgical company located in Cyprus, as Research and innovation play a key role in our activities. The company participats in several EU research programs under H2020. The aim of The Hellenic Copper Mines is to build consortium for a new Research program  that will be financed by the European Union under the program H2020, SC5-14-2016: Raw materials innovation actions-intelligent mining on land. The subject of the research program is the economical exploitation of difficult minerals (of low grade or of difficult mineralogy),by innovating methods including bacteria leaching, hydrometallurgy, recycling of tailings from past mining operations etc.
