Testo: My name is Avi Lifshits and I am the owner of "Segol Publishing", which was founded in 1996. The publishing house is located near the city of Tel Aviv, Israel. The basis for the publishing house is a family hardcover bookbindery, founded by my grandfather more than 80 years ago and run to this day by my brother. Over the last 26 years, Segol Books have published over 1600 different titles, from all existing genres: toddler books, children's books, teen books, science fiction and fantasy, parenting books, fiction, business books, photo albums, novels, autobiographies and more. Since we are well acquainted with the book business in Israel, we were interested in diversifying the selection of books and therefore we are interested in collaborating with an Italian publishing house. We will be happy to publish books from Italy, ones that will suit the Israeli readership, which of course will be translated into Hebrew. At the same time, we would like to expand our distribution of books, such as those that will also suit the Italian readership. The idea is not to acquire paid rights, but to replace book rights on the one hand with books on the other, assuming it suits both parties. We have books that have already been translated into English so it will be easy to be impressed by them. We would also be happy to be impressed by various books in Italian, which have already been translated into English, to facilitate their translation.
